Cake Smash Session FAQs
Common questions about booking your cake smash photography session at our studio.
When is the best time to get a cake smash session done?
The best time to get a cake smash session done is at about 11 months. Basically anytime when the child is sitting comfortably and can eat finger food. Some people prefer to get a cake smash shoot around the one year mark, near the birthday – and that is fine too. Basically, anytime between 10 to 18 months.
How early should I book the cake smash session?
We recommend that you book your cake smash session when your baby is about 10 months old. You can always check availability even at last minute!
Can I include a sibling in the cake smash session?
Of course! We are more than happy to have your older child or children join the session. Please note that there is an additional charge of ₹4,995 + GST per child per setup.
Can we get a family shoot during the cake smash session?
Yes, we highly recommend adding our Vogue Style Family Shoot to your session. Family photos will become the most treasured memories of your life and you will enjoy them for a lifetime. We offer both a simple add-on family moment and a full Vogue Style Family Shoot. Please see the add-ons section above for pricing.
Can I reschedule my session?
Yes, you can reschedule your cake smash session once, at least 7 days before your scheduled appointment. Last minute rescheduling is not allowed.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your session, please provide at least 7 days notice, or 14 days notice if your booking falls on a Saturday. Upon cancellation, your deposit will be retained as a credit, which you can use within the next 6 months. Kindly note that deposits are non-refundable.
What if I am late to the session?
We kindly ask that you be punctual for your appointment. If you anticipate a delay of 10–15 minutes, please contact us to check our availability. Delays of more than 30 minutes without prior notice may result in the cancellation of your session and forfeiture of your deposit.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI and bank transfers, as well as Google Pay and Paytm. We can also send a payment link on request. For in-studio payments, we welcome domestic debit/credit cards and cash. We are unable to process international credit or debit cards.
Will I receive a GST invoice for my cake smash session?
We will provide you with a GST invoice for the services you’ve utilised. Our services typically include an 18% GST, unless otherwise specified. We only issue invoices in the name of an individual for personal shoots like cake smash sessions.
Are you available for outdoor or at-home cake smash sessions?
Our cake smash sessions are exclusively conducted at our Gurgaon studio. For outdoor, at-home, or special production setups, please get in touch for a custom quote starting at Rs. 2 Lac + GST.
