Your Questions - Maternity Photoshoot FAQs

A few common questions parents ask before planning their maternity session.

When is the ideal time to book a maternity photoshoot?

We recommend getting your maternity photoshoot done after you've reached 32 weeks of pregnancy or anytime during your eighth month. The most favourable time for most women tends to be around 33-35 weeks, as your belly size and energy levels are optimal.

What should I wear for my maternity session?

We have a curated wardrobe of maternity gowns and wraps available to hire at our studio. You are also welcome to bring your own outfits — flowing fabrics, wrap dresses, and fitted styles photograph beautifully. We recommend one outfit per dress package, or multiple changes for the Two and Three Dress packages.

Can my partner and children join the session?

Absolutely! We naturally assume that your husband or partner will be part of the maternity shoot, and there is no additional fee for their inclusion. However, if you prefer a solo maternity session, we can certainly do that as well.

How long does the session take, and how many images will I receive?

Session lengths vary by package. Our One Dress session runs 35–45 minutes with 5 edited high-resolution photos, the Two Dress session is approximately 2 hours with 12 edited photos, and the Three Dress session is around 3 hours with 20 edited photos. All images are delivered as high-resolution digital downloads.
