A cake smash is a themed session rather than an age band, built around a styled set, a cake, and a child who has no idea what is about to happen. Some go in with both hands in the first ten seconds. Some inspect it suspiciously for ten minutes. Both make good pictures. We photograph clean portraits first, while everyone is still tidy, then bring the cake out. The set is themed to your choice and the cake is ours to provide.

When to book
Most families photograph the cake smash a few weeks before the first birthday, so the images can be used for invitations, the party, and the thank-you cards afterwards. Final photos take up to four weeks, so booking four to six weeks ahead is the comfortable window. If your child is older, tell us; we have shot cake smashes at eighteen months and at two.
The most booked package pairs the cake smash with a sitter setup in the same visit, so you get clean milestone portraits alongside the messy ones. Adding a Vogue Family setup means the first birthday is photographed with you in it too.

Is the cake included?
Yes. Every cake smash package includes the cake, chosen to suit the theme and safe for your baby. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Can I choose the theme?
Yes. We share our cake smash portfolio and current sets before the session, and we can build around a colour, a character or an idea you have in mind. Send us a reference if you have one.
What if my baby does not like the cake?
It happens, and it still makes good pictures. We photograph clean portraits first, so the milestone is captured either way. Then we introduce the cake slowly and follow your baby's lead. Suspicion, curiosity and full destruction all photograph beautifully.
Can I be in the photos with my child?
Yes, and we encourage it. Choose a package with a Vogue Family setup for a styled session with both parents, or add Basic Family for a few quick frames on the white backdrop. Siblings and grandparents can be added too.

Our 7,000 sq ft studio in Gurgaon is built for a calm, private baby session. Families travel from Delhi, Noida and Faridabad for the styling, the light, and a space that is ready for parents and babies.
