By three months your baby is awake to the world. They hold their head steady, follow you with their eyes, and smile back on purpose. That is what changes these pictures. A newborn sleeps through their session; an infant looks straight at you and responds. Alert and expressive but not yet crawling away, this is the easiest stage to photograph and the one parents most often say they are glad they did not skip.

When to book
At this stage babies are alert and responsive, hold their head up comfortably, and are full of expression, but they are not yet rolling or crawling, which makes posing calm and easy. Three months is a popular milestone because the smiles and eye contact have arrived. The months that follow bring even more personality and the ability to sit with gentle support.
Many families combine an infant session with a Vogue Family setup in the same visit, so the first real smiles are photographed both alone and with you. Book as early as you can; dates in your preferred week go quickly.
Questions parents ask
What is the best age for an infant photoshoot?
Between 3 and 6 months. Babies are alert and expressive, can hold their head up comfortably, and are full of personality, but are not yet mobile. Sessions are possible at other ages too; send us your baby's age and we will advise.
What should my baby wear?
We have a full studio wardrobe of soft outfits, wraps and accessories for your baby, one per setup. You are welcome to bring a favourite outfit as well. For family members joining, soft neutrals such as creams, whites and earthy tones photograph beautifully.
How long does an infant session take?
About an hour per setup, with plenty of time for feeds, naps and settling. A two-setup session is around two hours. The pace is guided entirely by your baby's mood.
Can I be in the photos with my baby?
Yes, and we encourage it. Choose a package with a Vogue Family setup for a styled session with both parents, or add Basic Family for a few quick frames on the white backdrop. Siblings and grandparents can be added too.
