View Full GalleryThe ideal time for an infant photoshoot is between 3 and 6 months. At this stage, babies are alert and responsive, able to hold their head up steadily, and full of expression — but not yet rolling or crawling, which makes posing much easier.
Three months is a popular milestone because babies are smiling and making eye contact, while the months that follow bring even more personality and the ability to sit with gentle support. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date.
Many families also choose to do a combined infant and family session at this stage, capturing both individual portraits and beautiful family moments in the same visit.

The ideal age for an infant milestone session is between 3 and 6 months. At this stage, babies are alert and expressive, can hold their head up comfortably, and are full of personality — but are not yet mobile, which makes it easier to create beautiful, calm portraits. Sessions are also possible at other ages; please reach out and we can advise based on your baby's current stage.
We have a full studio wardrobe of soft, beautifully styled outfits, wraps, and accessories for your baby. You are welcome to bring your own favourite outfit as well. For family members joining the session, we recommend soft neutral tones — creams, whites, and earthy tones work beautifully in our studio.
A typical baby session is 2 to 3 hours. We allow plenty of time for feeds, naps, and settling, so there is never any rush. The session pace is guided entirely by your baby's comfort and mood.
Absolutely — we encourage it. Family portraits are a beautiful addition to an infant milestone session. We can include parents, siblings, and grandparents. Please let us know in advance so we can plan the session accordingly.
