Maternity Appointments & Booking FAQs

 

Common questions about booking your maternity photography session.

When is the best time to get a maternity photo session done?

We recommend getting your maternity photoshoot done after you've reached 32 weeks of pregnancy or anytime during your eighth month. The most favourable time for most women tends to be around 33-35 weeks, as your belly size and energy levels are optimal. For those expecting twins, scheduling the session at around the 29 or 30-week mark is ideal.

How early should I reach out to book my maternity shoot?

You should reach out to us at least 4 to 8 weeks in advance to book your maternity session.

Can my husband or partner join me in the maternity photoshoot?

Absolutely! We naturally assume that your husband or partner will be part of the maternity shoot, and there is no additional fee for their inclusion.  However, if you prefer a solo maternity session, we can certainly do that as well.

Is it possible to include my other child or children in the maternity photoshoot?

Of course! We are more than happy to have your existing child or children join the session.  Please note that there is an additional charge of ₹4,995 per child per setup. This fee also includes an extra edited photo in your final deliverables.

As an expecting mother, can I include my parents, siblings or friends in my maternity photoshoot?

Ideally, we don’t recommend this. However, you may feel free to include anyone in your maternity shoot. Please note that there is an additional charge of ₹4,995 per adult per setup (other than your husband or partner). This fee also includes an extra edited photo in your final deliverables.

What payment methods do you accept, such as bank transfers, UPI, cards, or cash?

We offer a variety of payment options to suit your needs.  For online transactions, we accept UPI and bank transfers, as well as Google Pay and Paytm. We can also send a payment link on request. For in-studio payments, we welcome domestic debit/credit cards and cash.  Please note that we are unable to process international credit or debit cards at this time.

Is it possible to reschedule my maternity photoshoot?

Yes, we do permit rescheduling your session once, 7 days before your scheduled appointment. Last minute rescheduling is not allowed.

What is the procedure for cancelling my scheduled maternity photoshoot?

If you need to cancel your session, please provide at least 7 days notice, or 14 days notice if your booking falls on a Saturday. Upon cancellation, your deposit will be retained as a credit, which you can use within the next 6 months.  Kindly note that deposits are non-refundable.

What happens if I arrive late for my scheduled photoshoot?

We kindly ask that you be punctual for your appointment, as our studio operates on a tight schedule and our photographer has other commitments. If you anticipate a delay of 10-15 minutes, please contact us to check our availability. Delays of more than 30 minutes without prior notice may result in the cancellation of your session and forfeiture of your deposit. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend planning your day in advance, accounting for: Time needed for hair and makeup preparation. Travel time to the studio, including potential traffic and delays. Aiming to arrive 20 minutes prior to your session time can help accommodate any unforeseen delays.

Will I receive a GST invoice for my maternity photoshoot? Can I receive a GST Invoice in the name of my business for this photoshoot?

Absolutely! We will provide you with a GST invoice for the services you've utilised. Our services typically include an 18% GST, unless otherwise specified.  However, please be aware that we only issue invoices in the name of an individual for personal shoots like maternity sessions, as they are considered personal services rather than commercial ones. Business GST invoices are reserved for commercial shoots only. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Are you available for outdoor, at-home, or out-of-town maternity photoshoots?

Certainly! We can provide custom packages for out-of-studio maternity shoots starting from Rs. 2 Lac + GST, for Delhi NCR and Rs. 2 Lac + GST, for Delhi NCR. Please don't hesitate to call or WhatsApp us for further information or to discuss your specific requirements.

Session Terms

Please refrain from using mobile phones or personal cameras for photography or videography during the session to ensure the best experience.

The remaining balance, including any additional purchases, is kindly requested to be settled before leaving the studio.

Keep in mind that photo colors may look slightly different on various screens or printers.

Anega Bawa Photography will take care of all the creative details to ensure a beautiful session.

For your peace of mind, please back up your digital files after delivery.

Sessions are scheduled to be completed on the same day to ensure the best outcome.

While we take every precaution, we cannot be responsible for any injury or property damage during your session.

We ask that you avoid publicly or privately criticizing or defaming Anega Bawa Photography, our team, or affiliates for 10 years after signing this agreement. We’re committed to delivering the best possible service!

We may share select images from your session on social media, our website, or for ads, marketing and competitions to showcase our work.

In the rare event of data loss before delivery, we’ll be happy to offer a full refund or reschedule your session. Our liability is limited to the package amount.

Photos and videos are for your personal use, and Anega Bawa Photography retains the copyright.

If you share photos online, please keep our watermark intact and feel free to tag us – we love seeing our work shared!
