Maternity photoshoot with kids and toddlers
Your first child is about to become a sibling, and this is the photograph that records it. A toddler on your hip, a hand on the bump, a kiss on its way. These are our sessions with children, the newest first.
Four-legged family
Dogs can join any dress, at Rs 4,995 per dress, with our approval in advance. There are ten frames in this gallery, and they range widely: a golden retriever lying at your feet and sitting in your lap, a brown poodle beside you on a stool, a shih tzu in a red bow tie, a small dog held up for a kiss. The golden retriever appears in three frames, lying at your feet, sitting close beside you and looking up at a baby bodysuit held between a couple, and in another frame two dogs sit with a couple in black sequin. Tell us the dog's size and temperament during onboarding, and we plan around it. A calm person just out of frame to hold the lead helps.

Some of the outfits in these photographs belong to our clients and may not be available to hire. We cannot tell at a glance which ones, so if you see something you love, send us a screenshot on WhatsApp and we will tell you whether it is in the studio wardrobe.
Photographing the family before the baby
Three kinds of frame. The frames on this page fall into three groups. Mother and child: lifted, hugged, a kiss at bump height. The whole family: the three or four of you standing close, or sitting together on the floor. And the quiet ones, a forehead resting on the bump, a small hand on the curve. About half of them have a partner in them as well.
Every age. Toddlers held on the hip, young girls in tulle skirts with a flower crown, older boys standing at your shoulder. There is no age at which a child is too old or too young; there is only the question of how long they will stay, which is why we ask you about their day beforehand.
What they wear. We have outfits for mothers but not for children, so something comes from home. In these frames you will see matching black, denim dungarees under a white top, a boy in a red shirt beside a red gown, a girl in a pink tulle dress, and a small boy in a white shirt. Tell us during onboarding, and we suggest outfits that coordinate with yours.
Bright backdrops for small people. The majority were made against white, the sheer curtains or a light grey, which keep the frame open and light. A few are darker, with a family all in black against deep grey, which gives them a more formal feeling.
On a white block. A low white block lets a child stand at your height for a kiss on the cheek or a hand on the bump. About one in four frames uses one. It is the easiest way to get a child's face at the same level as yours.
Small things from home. A letter board announcing that your child is being promoted to big brother, a football, baby shoes, an ultrasound scan. Props are welcome, and the ones with a story are the ones you remember.
The charge. Children can be added to any dress at Rs 4,995 per child per dress. Tell us during onboarding so we can plan the session and suggest outfits.
How the session runs. The consultation is for you. On the day, a child sets the pace. Tell us your child's age and what their day looks like, and we plan the order of the session around it. If a child is having a hard day, tell us at the door and we adapt.
Reaching your height. At 32 to 35 weeks, lifting a toddler is hard work. A low white block lets a child reach your height without being picked up, and a toddler can sit on your lap or stand beside you. Tell us if lifting is a problem and we plan the poses around it.
Brothers and sisters. The older children in these frames are not posed as props. A son kisses your cheek, a daughter rests her head on your shoulder, a boy leans in with a hand on the bump. These are the frames that show your child as the elder sibling, before the baby arrives.
Will my toddler cooperate?
Some do and some do not, and both give good frames. Anega photographs a child's mood rather than asking them to pose, and the frames here include a surprised face, a laugh and a refusal.
Can both of my children be in the same dress?
Yes. Each additional child is Rs 4,995 per dress, and we plan the pose so they sit at different heights.
Do you have outfits for my daughter?
No, the wardrobe is for mothers. Find something that matches one of your outfits, or tell us during onboarding and we suggest options. ---
